ALL ARE WECOME

Outreach

"Will you seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself?"

Outreach is a priority ministry of Holy Cross. We welcome suggestions and help on keeping this foremost in our ministries! If you have an Outreach project for us to participate in, please let us know! Call the church at 799-6347 or email us at redrotary1@gmail.com Some of our projects are:

Good Shepherd Ministries: Each month a team from Holy Cross prepares and serves food for the fourth Sunday evening meal at Good Shepherd Ministries.  Additionally, collections of food for the Good Shepherd Ministries food bank and food for farm workers in Newton Grove, NC are collected weekly.  Contact is Keri Hooks, (910) 352-0858.

Easter Baskets:  Jenny Scott, (910) 686-2765, JScott4@ec.rr.com, and Beverly Hill, (910) 397-7989, bhill@ec.rr.com, lead this outreach effort to provide Easter baskets for Episcopal Farm Workers' children's Easter egg hunt.

Angel Tree:   Last year Holy Cross provided Christmas packages for 60 children and plans to provide more next year.  Everyone enjoyed shopping for children who have an incarcerated parent.  Contact is Ro Daugherty, (910) 794-2654 or redrotary1@gmail.com.
